Unbroken: I Can’t Wait For This Movie

On my 25th birthday, my grandfather gave the book “Unbroken.” It’s a great story about a man who was a runner all growing up and through college (like myself). What makes the story even better is that it is all true.

Crazy – but true.

I highly recommend the book before seeing the movie. It won’t ruin anything for you but will probably enhance the experience for you. I’m excited that this is coming to the big screen.

Have any of you read Unbroken?

I’m really looking forward to the movie as well! I read Unbroken after Louis Zamperini spoke at North Point Church & read his letter of forgiveness that he wrote to Mutsuhiro Watanabe, the Japanese POW guard who tortured him. His story of forgiving Watanabe touched me above anything else in his remarkable life story. I hope the movie shows the impact that his wife, Billy Graham & becoming a Christian had in his life.
